What moved

Max 5x — 5× Pro at $100/mo · Max 20x — 20× Pro at $200/mo · Pro yearly: $200 billed up front → Max — 5× Pro every 5 hours and every week at $100/mo · Ultra — no 5-hour limit for verified accounts, 10× Pro every week at $200/mo · Pro yearly: $17/mo equivalent, $200 billed up front

Anthropic renamed the individual tier line-up on claude.com/pricing: “Max 5x” is now “Max” and “Max 20x” is now “Ultra”, with every plan id in the catalog unchanged — the Ultra support article (support.claude.com/en/articles/17728952-what-is-the-ultra-plan) states “The Max 20x plan is now called the Ultra plan. Existing Max 20x subscribers move to Ultra automatically, with no price change.” and “The Ultra plan includes 10 times the Pro plan’s usage every week. Verified Ultra accounts don’t have a five-hour limit.” In the “Models and usage” matrix the five-hour row for Ultra now reads “No 5-hour limit” and the weekly row reads 10x for Ultra and 5x for Max, so the top tier’s published weekly multiplier moves 20× → 10× Pro. The $100 and $200 monthly prices are unchanged, as are the $100/month (Max) and $200/month (Ultra) Claude Platform API credits. The Pro card now prices its annual discount ($17/mo equivalent, $200 billed up front) and the Pro monthly price stays $20. No model roster changed: the matrix still publishes the Fable / Opus / Sonnet / Haiku family rows exactly as at the 2026-10-06 read, and the Fable row still reads 50% of weekly limits, so no calculator figure moves.
