What moved

Pro tiers: no API credits included → Pro 100 / 200 / 500 return $100 / $200 / $500 per monthly billing cycle as API credits on a linked API organization (prorated first grant, expires at cycle end, excludes Codex usage via API keys)

OpenAI's API credits guide makes the benefit official: eligible ChatGPT Pro and Business subscriptions claim free API credits, and the credit table reads Pro ($100 tier) $100 · Pro ($200 tier) $200 · Pro ($500 tier) $500 per month. Grants arrive on each renewal to an API organization the subscriber owns and links, the first grant is prorated for the rest of the current billing cycle, unused credits expire at cycle end and do not roll over, and no API payment method is required. Codex usage through API keys is excluded and the credits do not raise ChatGPT or signed-in Codex usage limits; Plus, Go, Free, Enterprise and Edu are not eligible. Logged better because every Pro subscriber now gets a separate API budget equal to the plan price — no plan price, usage allowance or model roster changed.
