What moved
The Ultra note said only that third-party models are not part of the included usage, with no distinction between the X Subscription tier and the legacy Cursor plan carrying the same $200 price → Same price and same tracked plan; the note now scopes that sentence to the current X Subscription Ultra and names the legacy Cursor Ultra’s two monthly pools — Cursor Models plus an included Other Models allowance whose size Cursor does not publish
Clarification, not a plan change. Cursor’s legacy-plans doc states that legacy Ultra ($200/mo — still honoured for existing subscribers, no longer sold) splits included usage into two monthly pools, and that the Other Models pool covers third-party models drawn down at each model’s API price; the X Subscription Ultra we price includes one shared Cursor-model pool and bills third-party usage at API list price from prepaid credit. The note on the Ultra row now carries that distinction. Cursor publishes that the legacy allowance exists but no dollar size and no reduction figure, so none is recorded — the r/cursor estimate of $400/mo down to ~$125/mo comes from one subscriber’s own usage CSV and is not encoded. No price, ceiling, roster or per-token rate moves.
