Anthropic added monthly Claude Platform API credits to the Max plans: the release notes carry “Claude Max and Team plans now include monthly API credits” under 2026-10-07, the pricing page marks a “Monthly API credits” comparison row New with $100/month on Max 5x and $200/month on Max 20x (Free and Pro read No), and both Max cards state the figures in words. Each tracked record now names its own credit. It is a separate budget, not a wider Claude Code allowance: the provider’s API-credits doc scopes the credit to the Claude API, Claude Managed Agents, the Claude Agent SDK and playground, lists Claude Code and extra usage in the Claude apps as not covered, and states that it refreshes each billing cycle and expires at the end of it with no rollover — spendable on the Claude Platform only. The Team plan’s pooled credits (up to $500/month, $20 per Standard and $100 per Premium seat) are out of scope: the site catalogues individual plans only. Both records keep their Claude Code session-limit wording, and the credits are deliberately not modelled as an allowance in the calculator because they cannot be spent on Claude Code. Plan prices ($100 / $200), usage limits, model rosters and every per-token rate are unchanged.
